Like many of Murakami’s characters, we are introduced to a set of young adults, who have somehow made it through the first stages of their life, but seem to be lost as to where they go from there. I’m not entirely sure that my favorite remembered things about Sputnik Sweetheart were actually in this particular book. That feeling lived in my eyes right off the pages.
